Which videos fit (and which don't)
In dropshipping, video is mostly for testing angles: which problem, which audience and which hook spark interest. Vaideo helps you produce problem-solution videos quickly ("If your dog shreds the cushions when you leave…"), use-case lists, category curiosities or what-to-check-before-buying explainers.
What the AI can't do is show your real product. Images come from Unsplash and Wikimedia or are generated by AI, and you can replace any scene's image with another from those sources. So for a demo of the product in action you'll need supplier footage or a sample filmed on your phone, which you can add in Vaideo Editor (free).
Honesty: illustrative images, not the product
A stock or AI-generated image isn't your product. Don't present it as if it were: if customers receive something different from what they saw, you'll get returns, bad reviews and possible complaints. Use images to illustrate the situation or the problem, and make it clear in the narration or the post caption that they're illustrative.
Same with the script. Don't invent testimonials, reviews or results ("changed my life in 3 days"), don't exaggerate delivery times and don't make health or safety claims you can't back up. TikTok's and Meta's ad policies ban misleading claims, and consumer protection law applies to your store too.
How to use it to test angles
For a single product, write several prompts with different audiences or problems: the same cable organiser can be pitched to gamers, remote workers or parents. Generate one video per angle, post them organically and see which holds attention best. No tool guarantees sales or virality; what you gain is the ability to test more ideas with less effort.
With a pack or Unlimited they come out in 1080p without a watermark, which matters if you'll also use them as ad creatives: a pack gives you 5, 15 or 40 videos that never expire and, if you test lots of angles, Unlimited gives you unlimited videos (fair use).
Ready-to-use prompts
“30-second video for owners whose dogs stay home alone: 3 signs your dog is bored and what you can do. Close by mentioning puzzle toys as one option”
Gives value first and mentions the category without promising results.
Use this prompt →“5 things to check before buying a desk cable organiser. Practical tone, 40 seconds”
An honest buying guide builds trust and works with illustrative images.
Use this prompt →“Why your glasses fog up when you cook or wear a mask, explained in 25 seconds, and what fixes exist”
Curiosity-problem format: the product shows up as one of the fixes.

Tips that make the difference
- ★Open with the customer's problem, not the product name.
- ★One audience per video: new audience, new video.
- ★Label images that aren't your product as illustrative.
- ★No invented testimonials or fake sales figures.
- ★Pair Vaideo videos with at least one real product video so customers know what they'll get.

Frequently asked questions
Can I upload photos of my product?+
No. Vaideo uses free-library or AI-generated images, which you can replace scene by scene. They aren't your product, so don't present them as such.
Can I create AI testimonials or reviews?+
You shouldn't: passing off invented testimonials as real is misleading advertising and breaks platform rules. Vaideo doesn't produce avatars or testimonials.
Will these videos sell?+
That can't be guaranteed. Sales depend on the product, price, store and audience. Vaideo helps you produce and test more angles in less time.
Can I use them as TikTok or Meta ads?+
Yes, the videos are yours and can be used commercially. For ads, a pack or Unlimited (1080p, no watermark) makes sense, and you must follow each network's ad policies.
How long should a dropshipping video be?+
Twenty to forty-five seconds is usually enough to set out the problem and the fix. Free goes up to 30 s; for longer, a pack (up to 5 min).
Does it have music?+
No. You can add your own royalty-free track in Vaideo Editor (free) or a sound in TikTok or Instagram when posting, respecting commercial-use licensing if it's a business account.
How much does it cost?+
Free: 1 video a day up to 30 s in 720p, watermarked. One-time packs that never expire (5 videos for €5, 15 for €12, 40 for €25): each video up to 5 min in 1080p with no watermark. Unlimited (€39/month): unlimited videos (fair use) up to 10 min, no queue, with direct YouTube upload and AutoPilot. Cancel any time.
