Data we process

Vaideo account: email, name, encrypted password, sign-up IP and country, and the texts and projects you create. Newsletter: email, language and proof of your consent (date, IP and accepted text). Payments: handled by Stripe; we don't store card data. If you connect YouTube, the permissions you grant to publish your videos.

Purposes

Providing the service (creating, saving and publishing your videos), managing your account and payments, sending you necessary service emails and, only if you subscribe, sending you Vaideo news and promotions.

Public videos on the free plan

On the free plan the videos you create are public: anyone with the link can watch them, and Vaideo may show them as examples on its website (for instance, in guides on how to make videos) and in its promotion, without saying who made them. This is a condition of the free plan. If you want them private, paying (a video pack or the Unlimited plan) lets you choose which videos are public, and with your first payment your videos become private. You can delete any video at any time and it stops being shown immediately; you can also ask us to take one down by writing to [email protected]. Don't put other people's personal data in a public video without their permission.

Legal basis

Performance of the contract for the account and service (including publishing free-plan videos); your consent for the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time; and legitimate interest for security and abuse prevention.

You subscribe by ticking the box and confirming the email we send you (double opt-in). Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you and keep only proof of the unsubscription.

Who we share it with

Providers processing data on Vaideo's behalf: Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (network and security), Plausible (cookieless visit statistics), AI providers that process the texts you enter to generate script, voice and images (Groq, Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs) and Google/YouTube if you connect your channel. Some are outside the European Economic Area; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We don't sell your data.

Retention

Account data while your account is active and afterwards for the legally required periods. Newsletter data until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies

The public website uses no advertising or tracking cookies; statistics are measured with Plausible, without cookies. The app only uses technical cookies needed to sign in.
