What Vaideo's AI voice is like
Vaideo narrates in two languages, English and Spanish, with one natural AI voice for each; when available it uses a premium ElevenLabs voice. There's no voice catalogue to pick male or female, no regional accents and no cloning of your own voice. In return, you don't have to do anything: the voice is generated from the script and captions sync to it automatically.
For a channel or a brand account, always having the same voice is an advantage: viewers link it to your content the way they'd link a regular presenter's voice. If you need a specific voice, a particular accent or your own voice, recording yourself or a voice-cloning tool will serve you better.
Write for the ear, not the eye
An AI voice sounds far more natural reading text written to be heard: short sentences, one idea per sentence, everyday words and few subordinate clauses. Ask for exactly that in the prompt ("short sentences, friendly tone, like telling a friend"). Brackets, bullet lists and abbreviations sound odd out loud.
Watch out for numbers, acronyms and foreign names. Write figures the way you want them read ("twenty twenty-five" if it could be ambiguous) and check how proper names come out. If something sounds off, rephrase that line in the prompt and generate again.
Pace matters too: in short form, the hook in the first seconds should land straight away, with no "hi, welcome back". Lead with your strongest statement or question.
Transparency and limits
Some platforms ask you to label AI-generated or altered content when it could be mistaken for something real. Check the rules on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram and use their labels where they apply; saying the narration is AI doesn't cost you credibility, but hiding it can.
An AI voice doesn't guarantee virality either: it helps you post consistently without recording, but reach depends on the topic, the hook and each platform's algorithm.
Ready-to-use prompts
“Tell the story of Hachiko the dog in 50 seconds. Short sentences, moving but restrained tone, close with a brief reflection”
Narrated stories are where an AI voice shines most; Vintage/Sepia suits it.
Use this prompt →“Explain compound interest with a simple example, no complicated figures, for a 20-year-old. 45 seconds. Note it isn't financial advice”
Asking for few figures avoids awkward number reading and keeps it clear.
Use this prompt →“5 British habits that surprise visitors from abroad. Friendly, slightly humorous narration, 60 seconds”
A light list format with a conversational tone plays well with a narrated voice.

Tips that make the difference
- ★Ask for sentences under 15 words: the voice breathes better and captions read more easily.
- ★Write numbers and acronyms the way you want them spoken.
- ★Skip the greetings: your first line should be the hook.
- ★Keep the same language and style across a series so your account has a recognisable sound.
- ★Label content as AI when the platform asks you to.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose a male or female voice?+
No. Vaideo uses one natural AI voice per language, with no voice picker. You can set the script's tone in the prompt.
Are there voices with other regional accents?+
There's no accent selection. The English voice is neutral and widely understood.
Can I clone my own voice?+
No, Vaideo doesn't offer voice cloning. To use your own voice, record it and add it as an audio track in Vaideo Editor (free).
Which languages can it narrate in?+
English and Spanish. Other narration languages aren't available for now.
Do I have to disclose the voice is AI?+
It depends on each platform: some require labelling realistic synthetic content. Check their rules; when in doubt, disclosing it is the safer choice.
